Jessica and Andrew were a lot of fun at the tasting. I got a chance to use one of my favorite craft gin’s from St. George, Terroir. This gin is the essence of Northern California with a mild but crisp finish, redolent of earth and pine. As a brides drink, I wanted to keep this drink light a fruity, adding Gaviota strawberries, Persian limes, and Maggie’s Mint.
The groom loved my take on a Gold Rush, using some early season Meyer Lemons, Ginger Liqueur, and one of my new favorite bourbons ( and the one I rated Best of Class at the L.A International Spirits Competition ) Old Forester.
